Intel, for some inexplicable reason, forgot to publish drivers for Rocket Lake’s integrated graphics prior to the processors’ release last week. They haven’t given a clarification yet, presumably because there isn’t one: according to all sources, Rocket Lake’s integrated graphics is a replica of old hardware that doesn’t need modified drivers – just certification.
Intel’s graphics drivers are usually available on their downloads website, but if you search for the 11900K or its siblings, then all you get is the Performance Maximizer utility. If you download the Intel Graphics driver installer, it says it can’t find a match for your hardware. That’s a bit annoying when you’re paying over $600 for a new processor.
Before the embargo, reviewers, including ourselves, were given pre-release drivers, and those who reviewed the integrated graphics found no flaws. Drivers were also available to OEMs. As far as we know, the integrated graphics within the Rocket Lake processors, dubbed the UHD 750, are practically similar to those used in last year’s handheld Tiger Lake processors. Common sense dictates that the drivers do not require extensive rewriting.
According to Lisa Pearce, Intel’s Director of Graphics Program Innovation, the drivers will be open to the public on Monday.
i’m actually kinda surprised that intel has mishandled the rocket lake launch this badly. drivers aren’t available for the igp until the end of the month. was it rushed out the door? is something broken? https://t.co/ozoketS9IG

But, if you’ve brought a Rocket Lake processor but don’t have a video card to go with it, you won’t have to wait until Monday to play CS: GO at 30 frames per second. Here’s an alternative:
Download the general Intel Graphics driver.zip file and update it manually using the Windows driver development tool: Display Adapters > UHD 750 > Control Panel > Device Manager > Properties > Driver > Upgrade Driver > (right-click) Check at my computer for driver applications.
