XRP cashed out into $65,183,376
The mind-blowing number of XRP coins sold by Jed McCaleb since March 6 totals 152 million, which adds up to more than $65 million to the U.S. fiat currency.
It took nine transactions (one per day) of about 18.5 million XRP to do so.
McCaleb’s wallet also holds half a million XRP coins. The group assumes that all of his remaining coins will be sold before the end of the year.
At press time, XRP is now in seventh position on CoinMarketCap and is still trading in the $0.43 band.
U.Today announced on March 10 that McCaleb had paid out marginally more than 108 million XRP.
XRP has tanked after the SEC filed a lawsuit
The coin lost around 67% of its market value in just a few days after the U.S. security regulator announced a complaint against Ripple on December 21, 2020.
However, it continued to cross the $0.63-0.65 peaks on Feb. 1 and Feb. 22.
