If you’re sick of seeing pictures of Lady Dimitrescu all over the internet, you’re in for a treat when Resident Evil Village arrives. Capcom’s horror has released its first gameplay video, revealing that players would be able to film the 9-foot 6-inch beauty using the game’s picture mode.

IGN released a five-minute video of the next Resi running in 4K/60fps on a PlayStation 4 Pro. During the now-famous cutscene in which Lady Dimitrescu talks on the phone with the enigmatic Mother Miranda, the bottom right of the screen shows that pressing the Option button skips the scene or enters a picture mode, which Resident Evil 7 ignores. There’s even a hilarious scene in which the lady hurls her dresser around the floor.

In other scenes, we see protagonist Ethan exploring the cellars of Castle Dimitrescu and blasting/stabbing several hooded monsters in the first-person perspective first seen in Resi 7. It’s running on a last-gen PS4 Pro, so the graphics and lighting aren’t particularly vibrant, but expect the game to look much better on the PC and PS5/Xbox Series X/S.

We recently learned that Capcom was welcoming Lady Dimitrescu’s cult-like reputation by promoting Village of 1:1 scale standees, who have been used in gaming stores in Hong Kong and Japan. She’s even been seen on the sides of buses in Hong Kong.

Fans of snu-snu might want to check out 6’9″ model Ekaterina Lisina (below), who makes the best Lady Dimitrescu we’re ever likely to see.
